Sarnia, ON - As part of Sarnia-Lambton's goal to get residents 'moving', in motion and University of Windsor researchers are conducting a physical activity survey to determine the level of activity in our community.
"The results of the Community Physical Activity Baseline Survey will provide valuable information on the current state of physical activity in our community and allow us to plan and organize initiatives to better support and promote local healthier lifestyles," says Cathy Powell, Health Promotion Officer with the County of Lambton Community Health Services Department.
The online survey consists of about 25 questions and takes about ten minutes to complete. All information will remain confidential.
The survey is accessible at:
To log in to the survey the user ID is inmotion; the password is active.
"Participants receive instant feedback on their level of physical activity and, as an added bonus, everyone who participates will be entered in a random draw to win an iPod," says Powell.
The movement begins today, and it begins with you.
