Every woman is different, and depending on her stage in life, health concerns are different too. It is important to follow a good schedule of care for prevention and early detection of potential concerns.
In addition to many other services, the County of Lambton Community Health Services Department provides PAP tests, pelvic exams, breast exams and birth control options to females 24 years of age and younger.
For women who are older, PAP tests and breast exams are still important and should be done as part of your yearly exam with your family doctor. Depending on where you are in life, you may want to talk about pre-conception health, or menopause.
If you are a woman 24 years of age or younger, and in need of a PAP test, pelvic exam, breast exam or birth control, click here for information, hours and locations of scheduled clinics. An appointment is necessary.
