Choosing the right birth control can be challenging. Today, there are many options to choose based on your lifestyle and overall health.

To help you choose and decide on the birth control method that is right for you, we have provided links to commonly used methods and their effectiveness in preventing pregnancy. You will also find information on what to do if you have taken your birth control incorrectly and when you are not well protected.

If you are a female, 24 years of age or younger, and need birth control, you can call the County of Lambton Sexual Health Clinic to schedule an appointment. Also, if you are female of any age, and do not have a drug plan, the County of Lambton can fill your doctor's prescription for birth control at a discounted rate.
