Natural fluoride is found in soil, water, and some foods. It is well known that fluoride has a positive effect on teeth by making them more resistant to cavities. Fluoride is found in the municipal drinking water of many communities; can be purchased in drug stores and pharmacies; or can be applied by a dental health professional.
