Ready Set Grow...the Preschool Checkpoint

As a parent, you play an important role in your child’s development.

Take time to check your child’s progress…because the early years matter.

The Preschool Checkpoint is available to all children 18 months to 4 years of age.

Ready Set Grow….the Preschool Checkpoint will resume in January 2011.

For more information call Child Health & Dental Services Department
519 383-8331 ext. 3536, toll free 1-800-667-1839 ext. 3536

The clinics, which are held at convenient locations across Lambton County, are designed to help parents help their children reach their potential and be ready and excited to start school.

Ready Set Grow…the Preschool Checkpoint is a proactive screening that provides parents with a sense of what to expect and an opportunity to see their child’s normal ranges of growth, ability and behavior. Recognizing a concern and taking steps early to address it will help your child reach their full potential and prepare them to learn.

The Preschool Checkpoint provides awareness and expert advice on various child-related topics:

·         Developmental screening

·         Speech and language

·         Early literacy

·         Behaviour

·         Occupational therapy

·         Immunization

·         Dental

·         Nutrition
