Sarnia, ON - A child car seat - when installed and used correctly - reduces the risk of injury or death in the event of a collision.
On Wednesday, March 16, a FREE Child Car Seat Check Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Bert A. Logan Fire Hall, 1410 Wellington St., Sarnia. The event is sponsored by the County of Lambton Community Health Services Department, OPP, Sarnia Police Services, Ministry of Transportation, Sarnia Fire Rescue Services and Bruce Power.
'By ensuring your child's car seat is properly installed, you can prevent injury or death,' says Andrea Wessels, Health Promotion Assistant at Community Health Services. 'Our trained personnel will make sure the child car seat is installed properly and that you know how to use it. Our main concern is the child's safety.'
