Healthy Living Lambton
is a community-based coalition of
individuals, agencies, businesses and organizations interested in
promoting healthy living in Lambton
County
Our members and partners work together to promote awareness
of healthy living, provide skill-building and education opportunities
about healthy living and work toward creating healthier environments and
policies to make healthy choices the easier choices in
Lambton
County.
We
envision
Lambton
County
as a community that
supports wellness by choosing healthy eating, physical activity,
smoke-free living and stress management.
Our
mission
is to enable
Lambton
County
to become a healthier
community through the collaborative efforts of individuals, groups and
partnerships.

Objectives

To increase the percentage of teens who
are non-smokers.

To increase the percentage of adults who
are non-smokers.

To increase the percentage of smokers
make an attempt to quit.

To increase the percentage of
Lambton
County
residents who consume five or more fruits or vegetables daily.
-
To increase the percentage of
Lambton
County
residents who participate in moderate to vigorous activity on most
days of the week.

To increase the percentage of
Lambton
County
residents with a healthy weight.
