Some clinics and classes are held on specific days; others are held every so often or to meet community demand.

Prenatal Classes

Prenatal classes promote a healthy pregnancy and prepare you for the birth and care of your baby.

Young Moms Prenatal Classes

Congratulations, you are going to be a mom! This will be the one of the most exciting times of your life! Taking care of your baby, and yourself while you are pregnant, is very important. Free prenatal classes can help.

 
Food Handler Certification Program

The Food Handler Certification Program is designed to teach food handlers the general principles of safe food handling.

Immunization Clinics

Vaccinations are offered by Community Health Services Department in Point Edward, Petrolia and Forest. Find for a clinic location near you. Appointments are usually required. Call 519 383-8331 ext. 3554, or toll free 1-800-667-1839.

Parenting Program

There are parenting classes that can help you raise your children from toddlers to teens. There is also information on the Parent Drop-In program. 

Dental Clinic Hours

For eligible children 17 years old and younger.  Clinics are held Tuesday and Thursday.  Call Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to make an appointment.  Click here for more information.

Birth Control and Sexual Health Counselling Services

Birth control and sexual counselling services are available in Point Edward, Petrolia and Forest. Check clinic locations, dates and times. Appointments are preferred.

Ready Set Grow...the Preschool Checkpoint

Is your child ready and eager to learn?  Book your FREE appointment to make sure your child is on track and ready to learn when they start school.  Available to all children 18 months to 4 years old.  School Readiness information and screening are available.  Click here for more information.

A nutrition educator will answer questions on nutrition and demonstrate how to make healthy food choices during a free, aisle-by-aisle, guided tour of a supermarket.
